No sign-in · nothing else asked
Stop reports
Paste the stop code from the bottom of a Helix Counter report email and those reports stop. You do not need to sign in, and you will not be asked for your email address — the code is all that is needed, and it can do nothing except stop the reports it came with.
What this page does not do
Written on this page, and true whether or not anything here is reachable.
- one answer, either wayThe reply is the same sentence whether or not the code matched anything — that is on purpose, because a page that said “no such subscription” would tell a stranger holding your email address whether you are a subscriber. If you are not certain the code was right, paste it again from the email.
- no address is asked or acceptedThere is no field for an email address here and there never will be. The code names an account without naming a mailbox, which is what makes it safe to put in an email at all.
- reports onlyThis stops the periodic report emails. It does not close an account, delete anything, or stop a message about something urgent — those are different decisions and are made where you sign in.
- the code does not expire, and it is not a passwordIt works months later and it can do exactly one thing. Anyone who has it can stop your reports and nothing else — they cannot read them, and they cannot sign in with it.
Lost the code? Sign in and turn reports off there — the setting is the same one, and turning
it off in either place is enough. If you are receiving reports you never asked for and have no
account, that is worth telling us about on the
security page.
